pantry. is built so that we know as little about you as possible. This policy explains what we process under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Your work email
- We use it for two things only: to send you a one-time login code and to work out your company from its domain.
- We never store the address. We store a keyed hash (HMAC-SHA256) of it, so the same email signs you back into the same account. The hash can't be turned back into the address.
- The login code is delivered through our email provider, Resend, which processes the address only to deliver that message.
What we store
- Your display name, random #tag, company, the IT park you picked, and when the account was created.
- What you post: posts, comments, votes, poll answers and reports.
- A session token kept in your browser so you stay signed in. We store only its hash.
What we don't store
- No email addresses, phone numbers, real names, or request logs with IP addresses.
- No tracking cookies, analytics or ads. IP addresses are held in memory for a short time only, for rate limiting.
What others see
- Your name#tag, your IT park, and your company once at least five verified people from it have joined. Posts made before that never show the company or the author.
- Times are rounded to 15 minutes.
Your rights
Menu → Delete account erases your posts, blanks your comments and deletes the email hash immediately. Backups roll over within 14 days. For any other request, write to grievance@dailyjobs.tech.
